East Bay Agency for Children’s family five resource centers connect families to vital public benefits and safety net services including:
Case Management
- Connect families to services (family wellness screenings including domestic violence, housing, immigration, childcare, child support, employment, mental health services, and other basic needs services)
Food Resources
- Assist families in applying for CalFresh
- Offer food distribution including emergency food supplies
Application Assistance
- Assist families in applying for Medi-Cal, CalFresh, school enrollment, free and reduced school lunch, and other public benefits to which they are entitled
Parent Workshops
- School readiness, nutrition, parenting and other areas of need and interest
Child School Support
- Connecting with teachers, support with IEP process
EBAC Family Resource Centers may also provide translation and interpretation services for a non-English speakers.
Our family resource centers are located in accessible locations throughout Alameda County.
