Fremont Healthy Start

 

Fremont Healthy Start has been open to Fremont families for over 31 years. The Family Resource Specialists in this multilingual and multicultural program help local families access the support services available to them so their children and families can thrive.  Fremont Healthy Start provides the following services:

 

• Healthcare insurance- enrollment and retention (MediCal)
• Case Management
• Application Assistance: CalFresh, CalWorks, CAPI, In Home Support Services, etc
• Emergency food and clothing
• Information and referrals for child support, child care, housing, mental health services, etc.
• Assistance with school enrollment
• Translation and interpretation
• 9 languages spoken: Spanish, Dari, Pashto, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean
